1175 Rue Jacques-Cartier - Huge and bright! Property located in a beautiful environment. 6 bedrooms rooms, 6 ensuite baths and 2 lounges. In the heart of Gatineau just minutes from Downtown Ottawa. With stunning views of the Ottawa river, the Kokomo Inn exudes beauty and tranquility. In the summer, on the BnB’s city block, there are party boats available to you to ride - with music and dance, in addition to tourist site-seeing vessels available every day. You can hop on the beautiful bike path at the front of our BnB and ride to visit Ottawa in 20-30 minutes. The museum of History and the Ottawa Art museums are very close. Again, by the BnB, a short 5-minute walk along the river walking path are several restaurants including The Forum Pub and Dance Club , The Stirling Steakhouse, The Noche Maya Mexican, and The Pirate Bistro - each occasionally having live music on some weekend nights.Public transportations
Throughout the month of August, every Wednesday and Saturday, not far from the BnB, you can watch the International Show of Lights and Music fireworks competition displayed by countries from all over the world.
The Festival des Montgolfieres (Gatineau Balloon Festival) fills our sky above the BNB with bursting colors every Labor Day weekend in September. The balloons go up every morning and evening. When the wind currents are just right, they fly above the Ottawa river and above the Kokomo Inn Auberge des Outaouais… so close, you can almost touch the baskets! It is a sight to see and rare the world over.
